SHUBIBINMAN 3  (MASAYA / NCS)

SUPER CD-ROM 2 (JAPANESE VERSION)

Shubibinman series started back in 1989, with the game Kaizou Ningen Shubibinman, released in Hu-Card. Clearly inspired on Megaman series, a huge Capcom success on the NES, Shubibinman was an awful platform game, with mediocre graphics, boring gameplay and not attractive at all.

The second game, released in 1991 (Hu-card) and also known in the US as Shockman, was much better than the first one, with well done graphics, lots of humor and originality.

But no-one, not even the most optimistic PCE-maniacs, could ever wonder that the third game in the series, released on CD-ROM2 format, would complete the trilogy with such magnificence. Reminding games such as Megaman, Turrican and Sparkster, Shubibinman 3 is absolutely flawless, and it is quite often mentioned on most "Best PCE-CD games of all-time" lists.

With unbelievable graphics, filled with animations, giant sprites and palette effects, Shubibinman 3 is one of the most impressive games on the PC-ENGINE. The scene in which your character (Tasuke or Kyapiko) gets a giant robot and starts to run and shoot, in the first stage, in unforgettable! The soundtrack is a must; the gameplay, just perfect; and the anime sequences are as good as most of the best Super CD animated parts.

Shubibinman 3 is fantastic, a must-have title on every PCE-CD collection. You canīt miss it!
